PEER-LEARNING WORKSHOP: Navigating Your Organization?s Transition,
Sunday, January 27 ? 7-11 a.m.
Today?s family foundations are part of a constantly changing world. Some changes are caused by transitions within a community, while others are necessitated by trustee or staff turnover. Each transition presents an opportunity to engage in new thinking and examine fresh approaches to increase a family?s ability to effect positive change in the world. The session aims to equip all leaders in family giving with an understanding of the most likely transitions encountered in family foundations, and the important considerations in managing through those transitions. As a follow-up to the CEO Workshop, this preconference session will feature National Center for Family Philanthropy President Virginia Esposito discussing new findings on how family foundations use transitions to spark renewal and re-commitment among board members, as well as strategic conversations to move the foundation forward. With this shared framework in hand, attendees will workshop their own stories of transition through peer-consulting groups and explore solutions. See more details and register here.
